The Melodious Thunk philosophy is that music, sound design and location sound should be done at the highest quality, on-time and for reasonable prices. Our robust Internet connection facilitates quick transfers and allows clients from all over the world to take advantage of our music, sound design and foley services. Film, TV or videogame clients can simply upload their project and then download the finished audio, making the whole process quick and painless. Our studio is based on the industry standard ProTools HD platform. Rounding out the equipment is an assortment of gear from Genelec, Neumann, Manley, Tascam, Grace and Damage Control, Inc. In order to fulfill your sound design needs, we currently have nearly a terrabyte of sound effects, as well as a vast array of sound design software. We also have the Dolby LM100, which is necessary for mixing for many TV networks, such as Discovery Channel, Animal Planet and many more. For your location recording needs, we offer multi-channel recording using state of the art digital recorders and wireless mic systems. Our location recording arsenal includes the venerable Sound Devices 744t, Zaxcom and Lectrosonics wireless systems and Sennheiser and Schoeps boom mics.
