Melodious Thunk is the culmination of over a decade of work for industry veteran and principle founder, San Diego composer Tracey Larvenz. The idea is that music and sound design should be done at the highest quality for reasonable prices while remembering that service is not a lost art. Many of our clients choose to work remotely. Our robust Internet connection facilitates quick transfers and allows clients from all over the world to take advantage of our music, sound design and foley services. Film, TV, or videogame clients can simply upload their project and then download the finished audio, making the whole process quick and painless while delivering jobs on time and on budget. We score and mix several tv shows for clients from all over the U.S.
Our studio is based on the industry standard ProTools system. Our rig is the highest quality version currently available, ProTools HD 3 Accel. Rounding out the equipment is an assortment of gear from Genelec, Neumann, Manley, Tascam, Grace and Damage Control, Inc. In order to fulfill your sound design needs, we currently have nearly a terrabyte of sound effects, as well as a vast array of sound design software. We also have the Dolby LM100, which is necessary for mixing for many TV networks, such as Discovery Channel, Animal Planet and many more. We also can lay off to DA88.
